A modular design is key for future proofing our products. It enables repairs and upgradability.
Extending the lifetime of our products is the single most important factor we can do to fight climate change. With smart tech being built into loudspeakers of today they become quickly outdated.

We are on a mission to become the first circular tech brand. We achieve this mission by making timeless, modular electronics that are forever upgradable. We believe products should get better with age and that companies are responsible for removing electronic waste from the world.
Transparent’s founders, Per Brickstad, Magnus Wiberg and Martin Willers, are driven by a passion and curiosity to create products that are as much an interior design object as a great sounding piece of technology. The brand’s name also stands for a desire for open, honest, and more sustainable business practices. Their design philosophy has won several awards over the years, among them the Wallpaper* Design Awards.
Design is often used to put a fancy surface onto something. We want to do the exact opposite. We want to show products as they really are. The main materials of our products – aluminium and glass, are chosen for their ability to last a long time, and to exist in recycled material streams. We are constantly working to increase recycled sources with the aim of closing the material loop.
