Born in Pisa, Roberto Lazzeroni pursued studies in Art and Architecture in Florence, where he cultivated a deep interest in conceptual art and Radical Design. His professional journey took off in the 1980s with notable interior design projects, garnering attention in Italian and international publications. Lazzeroni considers interior design a crucial discipline, a “school” for acquiring valuable experience in materials, techniques, and residential property-related issues, laying the foundation for his subsequent venture into product design. Infused with influences from design history, Lazzeroni developed a distinct and recognizable style, affectionately termed “sentimental design.”
