Michi Jung is the first Korean graduate in Industrial design at Politecnico of Milan, which exhibited his designs in many countries such as Salone Satellite, 100% United Kingdom design, United States’ ICFF, and Design Korea in South Korea. Michi had various experiences through collaborations with Idea Standard, Bonacia Pierantonio, and Luca Boffi. In 2007 the Korean government selected Michi Jung as the next generation designer and won the Good Design Award for a door handle design. Since 2012, his MICHI JUNG DESIGN STUDIO has been established in order to serve as a design bridge between Italy and South Korea.
Through some collaboration with Midj, it is ensuring some practical and minimal designs and further developed plans for continuous research and designs that will reflect new life patterns in the future.
