Italian architect and designer, Mario Bellini, born on February 1, 1935, graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1959. His diverse career spans architecture, exhibition design, and furniture design, flourishing during the Italian economic boom of the late 20th century. Bellini is a recipient of numerous design accolades, including eight Compasso d’Oro awards and the Gold Medal for Lifetime Achievement by the Triennale di Milano. In 2019, he was honored with a career medal by the Italian President of the Chamber of Deputies, Roberto Fico, recognizing his significant contributions to Italian architecture and design.
