Gino Sarfatti (1912–1985) was a renowned Italian architect and designer who made significant contributions to the history of industrial design. With an educational background in architecture, Sarfatti is best known for creating over 700 fixtures. Among his famous works is the iconic 2097 chandelier, a timeless design from 1958 that remains popular today. Another notable piece is Model 548, part of the Astep collection, originally designed in 1951. Revitalized by the third generation of the Sarfatti family in 2013, Model 548 is a retro-modern table lamp with enduring appeal.
