Born in 2002 from the relationship between dimensions based on the multiples and submultiples of the number three, eighteen years later Kubic is presenting new module sizes and elements for seats and armrests that create geometric harmonies and generate configurations for spaces of various dimensions. On request, the cushions can be embellished by a graceful edging in a matching colour. The shape and modularity of Kubic are coordinated with the Ludwig sofa. Together with coffee tables with a leather-covered top, Kubic and Ludwig express a pleasant interaction of opposites, of solids and voids.
Technical Features Structure: in metal and wood, padded with foamed polyurethane in different densities and covered with bonded protective fabric. Sprung seats: steel springs. Seat cushions: feathers in a feather-proof fabric cover or foamed polyurethane, Dacron and cotton fabric. Back cushions: Flyn-piuma (feathers and polyester fibre) inside a feather-proof cover. Mechanisms: the bed version includes an electrowelded bed base with a 12 cm polyurethane mattress and removable fabric. Cover: completely removable fabric and leather. Optional finishings: seat and back cushions are covered with fabric with a matching-coloured, taped edge.
